Scary Day
Last week we finally got the good word that Dustin will be starting his new job on the 13th of October, it has taken quite a while to get started with all of the background checks and everything that they require, but all is finished and he can start. It is bitter sweet, because I think he is going to miss some things at his previous job, but is definitely looking forward to this change. Yesterday was a scary day for us we returned home from church to find our sweet Lexie's (our lab/boxer puppy) face swollen so bad that she couldn't see. We, had to quickly make an emergency page to the vet and try to make sure that she was ok. We had no idea what was going on Dustin worried that she had gotten into something poisenous or worse, luckily the vet called us back and he was positive that she had gotten into some hornets and had a bad allergic reaction nothing that was extremely life threatening, we just needed to give her childrens benedryl every four hours for the next few days and the swelling would go down and she would be fine. Although alarming to see her, the benedryl worked wonders and she looked pretty much back to normal after about three doses. Thankfully there was nothing too serious wrong with her, I know we couldn't have handled losing our puppy. We only got her from the pound three months ago and she has had quite the childhhood thus far, but she bounces right out of it each time.

New to Blog
Blogging is very new for Dustin and I, but we really wanted a good way to update our families on the happenings in our lives. Currently we are living in Vernal in a cute little starter home we bought back in March. Dustin has been working for his buddy at a concrete company, but is in the process of changing jobs and will be working for an energy resource company called EOG. We are both excited about the change and optimistic about his new job. I still work for the same company, but now in their financial office instead of the bank. This has been a great blessing and I have enjoyed it so far. For those of you who don't know we are expecting our first child this December, a beautiful baby boy and we could not be happier. It really is such an exciting time in our lives moving into the unknown.
