Karter is a moving man!!
Karter used to get so frustrated being on his tummy, but now that the little man can get places he is one happy camper. This also means that he is getting into everything and mommy has to watch him like a hawk.

Pioneer Day
In our ward Dustin and I are the activities committee, a job that I loathe, but this year we were put in charge of the Vernal 3rd ward float for the Pioneer day parade. We decided that we would just do a mass float decorating party, so we announced in church for everyone that would be willing to help should meet at our house on Wednesday at 6pm (the parade was Friday). So at six there was no one at our house to help, but typical Mormons running on Mormon standard time, we had a great group of people there around 6:15. Needless to say we finished the float late Thursday night with the help of Dustin's mom and surprisingly it took fist place.

Cute Pictures of Karter for my Family
Here you go Mom and Jenna (cause she was the one bugging me) I thought I would post some pictures of Karter just for you guys.
Karter with his jellycat lion that his grandma Chris in Idaho bought for him.
Major Catch up
So, a lot has happened since my last post, but please forgive me I never have time to just sit down and blog. But here goes. So we went to Washington DC for my sister Jenna's wedding and it was beautiful, we got absolutely no sleep between Karter not sleeping and a couple that screamed at each other all night we were tired, but it was wonderful and I think it was what she has always dreamed of which means it was perfect. We toured the capital building and got to see the office of the representative from Alaska, as you can see Dustin was in heaven.
While we were in DC Karter had his sixth month birthday and we returned to four more teeth coming through and shots. As you can see he does sick so well. So, he slept with Dustin and I for a week or so. Also while we were there Dustin and I had our two year anniversary, seriously where does the time go? Lucky for us we treated ourselves to a bigger bed to accomodate all of our co-sleepers.
The last weekend in June we went camping with Stuart, Holly, Tiffany, and Christopher for the power plant camp-out and although it started out with a lot of rain, it turned out to be a really fun trip. Karter did really well and got to go on his first four-wheeler ride. Also he got outfitted in a dew rag that matched his grandma Holly's so that the poor kid didn't burn his head (he is such a moon baby). Somewhere in there we also celebrated Father's day and since Karter has such a great dad he got him sattelite radio (since he had been begging for so long).
For the fourth of July Bryan, Hayley, and the boys came to Vernal from Logan, it was so much fun having them here for the parade, fireworks, and Tiffany's birthday. I really think Karter is starting to enjoy his cousins. Him and McCrae were in the wading pool together and Kellon decided that he wanted to try out the whole binkie thing and Karter was so sweet and shared. Really Kellon took it, tried it out, and decided that Karter was crazy, because there was nothing coming out of the nipple. Karter also turned seven months while they were here and those darn top teeth that were trying so hard to get through finally came down (he now has six).

Rain, Rain, Go away come again another day!
So, this weekend was the maiden voyage of the summer camping season and all it did was rain. For the most part we all had a really good time, but we were truly confined to the trailers, because outside it was a muddy mess. Poor Karter doesn't travel well and had a hard time napping during the day and sleeping at night, so when we came home Sunday he went to bed early and had a really good nights sleep in his own bed. Glad that we went and had a mini staycation even though it was a bust with the rainy weather, it was good to get out of the house and do a little relaxing.
